NASCAR: Drivers Mentioned The Most on TV

Let's be honest, when it comes to a NASCAR telecast not every driver is given the same amount of face time when it comes to be talked about and shown on the TV screen. The amount of mentions that a driver receives in a telecast is often influenced by a variety of factors. One of the easiest ways for a driver to be mentioned is to be running up front, leading the race and winning the race. Aside from running well, mentions are also influenced by wrecks, pit road issues, storylines, a driver's popularity and more.

Earnhardt Jr. is widely regarded as the most popular driver in NASCAR and one of the biggest faces of the organization from a marketing stance. Earnhardt Jr. has not won in 2016 but he also hasn't run poorly.

Another one of the surprises is the lack of Danica Patrick on the list. Granted, it's only a handful of races but Patrick usually finds herself on these lists given her incredible marketability in NASCAR...
